1. How many quarters does it take to play a game?

All games range from 2 to 4 token for game play, with the average cost of two tokens (or 50 cents) per game. Games that would cost $1.50 or more at other entertainment facilities typically cost between $0.50 and $0.75 at Pinballz – so you get more game play for your money!  Tokens are available in change machines or at the cash register.  All machines also take quarters, and you are also welcome to bring your own!

2. Can I drop my kids off and pick them up later?

Pinballz Arcade has no specific rule to prohibit a parent from dropping kids off at the arcade. It is the parent or guardians responsibility to make a decision regarding the maturity and abilities of their child. It is also the obligation of a parent or guardian to ensure that their child has the proper funds, transportation, and personal phone information. Remember that Pinballz Arcade is not a child care facility. No child under age 10 is allowed without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pinballz Arcade does not provide specific supervision for your children and thus does not accept responsibility for their actions or inactions. We do hold the parents or guardians responsible for their own children. Pinballz Arcade does try to provide a fun, safe, and entertaining environment for children as well as adults.

3. Why can’t I write a check?

The no check policy has been in effect to reduce the processing costs of our operation. The fact that our company uses both tokens and real quarters vs. swipe cards makes it difficult to exchange checks for real quarters.  The savings that this provides better enables our company to provide the high quality of equipment and staff that you are growing accustomed to.  We do allow checks to reserve party rooms (for deposit only) if paid two weeks in advance.

4. When do my tickets or vouchers expire?

You can cash in your tickets at any time. We have no time limit on their redemption. If ticket vouchers become unviewable to the point of any reasonable person being able to tell what the amount is, the voucher value would then be worthless. Keep in mind that this event could happen from a voucher going through a washing cycle or time alone. Pinballz Arcade is not responsible for this loss. Pinballz Arcade will redeem your tickets so-long as they are valid, readable, and that Pinballz Arcade exists as an on-going business concern.

5. Do I need to have reservations for a party?

It is important to get reservations for your party. Pinballz Arcade party rooms are limited and if you want to get the time and day that you desire you should lock it in as early as possible. We do require a non-refundable deposit for reservations. We ask that if any changes or cancellations are needed, the group or party should give us a courtesy call or e-mail to free up that spot for someone else at least three days prior to the party reservation or funds are forfeit. When reservations are made the party then receives our group rate price (48 hour advance noticed required). Reservations can be made via phone 512-420-TILT or at www.Pinballz Arcade.com

7. How many quarters does one need for a party?

The answer to this question is somewhat variable. Most parties spend between $15 and $20 per child on tokens/quarters. This assumes a typical two hour party stay! The age of your child could also affect this number. Kids that are older or into their teenage years love to spend as many as you will give them! To ensure the maximization of your quarters, give half of your allotment in the beginning of your party, then return to the table, celebrate your party, and then give the other half of your quarters to your party guests.

8. How do you pay for a party?

You pay by the hour for the room, along with how many cups of tokens you want for each person. Remember that it is cash, credit or debit cards. No checks please. You pay for your tokens as you need them at the cash register or you can obtain them from our change machines.

11. What happens if I lose my tickets?

Tickets and vouchers are the responsibility of our customers. If you or your child loses a ticket there is no way (aside from finding it) to compensate that loss. Please have your children be responsible for their own tickets. Tickets and vouchers should be saved in a safe place. Pinballz Arcade does not keep any record of how many tickets a customer has. Once the ticket or voucher is cashed it is destroyed.
